Crime Description: NYPD's Identity Theft Squad are investigating nine (9) incidents in Staten Island (122 and 123 Pct). Four (4) incidents occurred at the Sovereign Bank, located at 6975 Amboy Road between Nov.of 2008 and Feb. of 2009 in the confines of the 123 Pct. Five (5) incidents occurred in the Sovereign Bank, located at 3150 Amboy Road in March/April of 2009, in the confines of the 122 Pct.In all these cases the suspect placed a device on an ATM that is capable of reading the magnetic strip information
